- "Client," "You," or "Your": Refers to the hospice, individual, or entity engaging our consulting services.
- "Services": Refers to hospice consulting, compliance roadmap calls, training, resources, and other related offerings.
Scope of Services
As hospice consultants, we help new hospices prepare for initial accreditation surveys and assist existing hospices with re-accreditation. We can respond to survey findings and create corrective action plans to address any issues identified by accrediting organizations.
Additionally, we provide regular audits to ensure ongoing compliance with hospice regulations and performance standards. Our consulting services are available as one-time interventions for specific issues or as ongoing support tailored to your needs.
Client Responsibilities
By engaging our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about your hospice operations.
- Ensure that your team complies with state and federal regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of any resources, tools, or training materials we provide.
- Follow through on implementation steps recommended during consulting sessions.
Payments & Fees
- Payment Terms: Payment is due in full at the time of booking unless otherwise stated in writing.
- Refunds: Consulting services are non-refundable, but sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24-hour notice.
- Late Payments: Outstanding balances may result in service suspension until payment is made.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Sessions may be canceled or rescheduled with 24 hours' notice.
- Missed appointments without notice may be forfeited.
- The Company reserves the right to reschedule sessions due to emergencies or unforeseen circumstances.
Confidentiality & Privacy
- Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information, including patient data, operational details, and proprietary business practices.
- We comply with HIPAA regulations and will not request or handle Protected Health Information (PHI) unless explicitly agreed in writing.
- Our Privacy Policy governs how we collect, use, and store client data.
Limitation of Liability
- We are not liable for regulatory actions, penalties, or fines resulting from client decisions or actions.
- Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, expressed or implied.
- Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid for services rendered.
Compliance Disclaimer
Our consulting services are designed to support compliance efforts but do not constitute legal advice or guarantee regulatory approval.

Intellectual Property
- All materials, tools, templates, and resources provided remain the intellectual property of Hospice Consultant Partners.
- Clients are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use these resources for internal business purposes only.
Termination of Services
- Either party may terminate services with written notice.
- Fees for completed sessions are non-refundable.
- Upon termination, clients must discontinue the use of proprietary materials.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
